Rules in brief

A 7×7 board, clusters of five or more matching symbols joined horizontally or vertically, tumbles after each win, a scatter that opens free spins. If you have played Sugar Rush, you already know how to play this.
Multiplier spots up to 1,024x
A cell that pays is marked; a second win there sets 2x and each further win doubles it. In this version the sequence continues past 128x to 256x, 512x and 1,024x. Multipliers under one cluster are added together and applied to that cluster's payout.
Eleven wins on the same cell are needed to reach the top value: the first marks it and the next ten double it. In the base game the board resets after each paid spin, so high values are effectively a free-spins event.
Free spins and the two purchases
| Scatters | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free spins | 10 | 12 | 15 | 20 | 30 |
In free spins the marks and multipliers stay until the round is over, and retriggers add spins on the same scale. Where the operator allows purchases there are two:
- Free spins, 100x the bet — the normal round. Demo-build RTP 96.52%.
- Super free spins, 500x the bet — the round begins with multipliers already placed across the grid. Demo-build RTP 96.44%. This round cannot be triggered by scatters; it exists only as a purchase.
Paytable
Identical to the original — the upgrade is entirely in the multipliers.

The RTP question
Two official sources disagree. Pragmatic Play's website lists 96.00% for Sugar Rush 1000. The demo build of the game, read on 13 Oct 2026, reports 96.53% for normal play. Slot databases additionally list operator builds of 95.50% and, in some cases, 97.50%. We cannot tell you which one your casino runs; the info panel in the game can. The method is on the RTP page.

Strengths and weaknesses
Strengths
- Much higher ceiling with the same simple rules
- Super round gives an immediate look at high multipliers
- Return in the demo build on par with the original
Weaknesses
- Top results are extremely rare
- Conflicting official RTP figures
- The 500x purchase is a very large single wager
- No change to the base game, which remains thin
Verdict
Sugar Rush 1000 is the original with the limiter removed. If you found the first game's 5,000x cap restrictive, this answers it. If you found the first game too swingy, this is worse. Either way, verify the RTP at your casino first — with this title the gap between builds is larger than the gap between versions.
Where to play Sugar Rush 1000 in Canada
Our demo test
On 13 Oct 2026 we played 500 paid spins in the official demo at C$2.00 and logged every result.
| Measure | Sugar Rush 1000 |
|---|---|
| Paid spins | 500 |
| Bet per spin | C$2.00 |
| Total wagered | C$1,000.00 |
| Total returned | C$2,000.70 |
| Return in this session | 200.1% |
| Spins with any win | 35.8% |
| Wins smaller than the bet | 48.0% |
| Average tumbles per winning spin | 1.85 |
| Longest tumble chain | 6 |
| Best single result | 546.3x |
| Longest run of dead spins | 11 |
| Free-spins rounds triggered | 2 |
| What those rounds paid | 20.9x, 546.3x |
The headline is a 200% return, and it should be read with care. Two free-spins rounds triggered. The first was an ordinary 10-spin round worth 20.9x. In the second, scatters kept landing and the round ran to 32 spins; with multipliers already on the board, the extra spins were worth far more than the first ten, and the round finished at 546.3x. Remove that one round and the session returns about 91%.
The base game behaved like the original's: 35.8% of spins paid something, 48% of those wins were below the bet, and the longest tumble chain was six.
The ladder to 1,024x
| Win number on the cell | Cell shows |
|---|---|
| 1 | Marked, no multiplier yet |
| 2 | x2 |
| 3 | x4 |
| 4 | x8 |
| 5 | x16 |
| 6 | x32 |
| 7 | x64 |
| 8 | x128 |
| 9 | x256 |
| 10 | x512 |
| 11 | x1,024 |
Every step requires one more win on the same cell. Because clusters must contain at least five connected symbols, a cell near the centre of the grid has far more ways to be part of a cluster than a corner cell, which is why high values tend to appear in the middle of the board.
What the higher ladder is worth
Take a cluster of ten top symbols, worth 5x from the paytable. On a single x128 cell — the best the original can do — it pays 640x. On a single x1,024 cell it would pay 5,120x. On two x512 cells it would pay 5x × 1,024 = 5,120x as well, since multipliers add. Results of that size are what the 25,000x cap exists for, and they are correspondingly rare.
Who should pick this version
- Yes: players who know the original well, play small stakes relative to their budget, and want the rare very large round to be possible.
- No: players who are tempted by purchase buttons, who play with limited funds, or who found the original frustrating between features. Nothing in this version makes the base game more generous.

Questions players ask
What is the RTP of Sugar Rush 1000?
The demo build reports 96.53%; the provider's web page lists 96.00%. Operators can use other builds, so check the in-game info panel.
How does the super free spins buy work?
For 500x the bet the round starts with multipliers already on the grid. It is available only as a purchase and only where the operator enables it.
Is Sugar Rush 1000 more volatile than the original?
Yes. The higher cap is reached about five times less often, and more of the return sits in rare large rounds.
Is the paytable different?
No. Symbol payouts are the same as in Sugar Rush.
How many wins does a cell need to reach 1,024x?
Eleven: the first win marks the cell and each of the next ten doubles the value from x2 up to x1,024.
Did your test hit a high multiplier?
Our 500-spin session included a 546.3x free-spins round after retriggers extended it to 32 spins. That was one round in one session and should not be expected.
