Order of sources
- The game itself. The info panel and the configuration the game loads when it starts.
- The provider. Pragmatic Play's game pages and press releases.
- Regulators. AGCO, iGaming Ontario, AGLC, Loto-Québec, BCLC, Atlantic Lottery.
- Third-party databases. Used only for items the first three do not cover, always labelled as unverified.
Last full check: 13 Oct 2026
On that date we opened the official demo builds of Sugar Rush, Sugar Rush 1000, Sugar Rush Xmas and Sugar Rush Super Scatter in CAD and recorded the RTP for each mode, the win cap and its stated frequency, the complete paytable, the free-spins scale, the minimum bet and purchase prices.
What we have not done
We say so plainly: this edition does not include a logged real-money test at a Canadian casino, measured withdrawal times or screenshots from a casino account. Where such data would normally appear, we describe the general process instead of inventing results. When tests are run they will be published with dates and stakes.
How we assess a game
- Clarity — can a player follow why a spin paid?
- Return — RTP of the standard build and the existence of lower builds.
- Variance — the win cap and how rarely it is reached.
- Cost controls — minimum bet, purchase prices, special bets.
We do not give star ratings and we do not aggregate user scores.
Updates and corrections
Pages are re-checked when a new version is released, when a provider changes a figure, or when a reader reports a mismatch. The “updated” date changes only when the content does. Contact details are on the about page.
Demo sessions of 13 Oct 2026
In addition to reading the configuration, we played 500 paid spins of Sugar Rush, Sugar Rush 1000 and Sugar Rush Super Scatter in the official play-money demo at C$2.00 per spin. Each response from the game was logged, and the totals were reconciled with the closing balance of each session to the cent. The results are published in the reviews. They are demo sessions with play money, they are far too short to estimate a game's RTP, and we present them only as an illustration of how sessions vary.
